Is Linter your own development, or is it based on some other product?
|
Linter is a licensed product developed by RELEX from scratch.
In fact, the development of a domestic DBMS started in Voronezh back in 1983: DBMS BARS, and then INTEREAL, were released. Then the developers who had been working on these systems decided to establish their own company, and on July 2, 1990 , RELEX was founded. This date may be regarded as Linter birthday .

Is the transition from other DBMSs to Linter difficult?
|
Thanks to the large number of interfaces, it is relatively easy to port an application from another DBMS to Linter. The Linter distribution also includes the Datariver utility that will enable you to convert your database to the Linter format. If any questions arise during the transition, our team is always ready to help you.

If, for some reason, this variant is not suitable for you, please send messageour marketing service, or simply call us, and we will mail you the disk.

What are the limitations of the demo version?
|
The demo version has only license limitations. It cannot be used for commercial purposes. And there is one more difference: the demo version does not include modifications made after launching the release. Thus, this is a fully functional system that does not include the latest updates.

How to purchase Linter ?
|
You can purchase Linter by contacting our marketing service or by sending an inquiry from our Web site. The prices are in the price list. Please select the needed configuration and the most convenient ordering option.

How to count licenses and the number of users in the license?
|
The number of licenses is determined by the number of servers on which Linter is installed. The number of users in one license is the number of users connected to one server (i.e. client workstations physically connected to the server, not users working concurrently).

What are the timeframes for delivery?
|
If you purchase the product from us directly, it will be shipped in 1-3 days after the payment is made, plus 1-5 days for delivery, depending on where you live. Thus, you will receive the product in 1-7 days.

|
Our products and documentation are shipped by courier. You will not have to wait for weeks for the package to arrive, and then go to the post office. The package will be brought directly to your office
