Using the Web interface
To work with Project Tracking, no additional software is required, all you need is a Web browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape).
You can access the system from any location with an Internet connection.
Detailed project structure
A project may be broken into parts that may be divided into smaller components, up to elementary operation.
Project division may be based on various principles, e.g. the product's functional subsystems or life cycle stages.
Storing the corporate info
The system allows storing the corporate information: the company's structure, staff info etc. The company's structure is represented in the system as a tree, with the company and its divisions as nodes.

The project information includes the data on its resources and structure, and the list of project-related tasks.
Storing the system and project documents
The system allows storing the corporate and project documentation. The documents are grouped into directories and subdirectories that make the so-called system documentation tree. Each document contains all its versions, which allows tracking the history of changes.
Differentiation of access
Information security mechanisms are implemented in the system. The users are granted roles giving them a certain range of access rights to the system's components.
Task automation and result tracking
Each task change is tracked, and all team members working on the task are automatically notified of any changes. The notification list usually includes the task author, result manager, reviewer, project manager and component manager. If necessary, other project participants can be added to the list.
Fast progress control
The work progress control is based on the daily reports submitted by team members. The individual reports allow the manager to get summary reports on each project or division, and promptly correct and coordinate the actions of the team members.
Generating analytical reports
Project Tracking includes several categories of analytical reports: personal, project and system. Personal reports summarize the data on the hours worked by each user. Project reports are intended for project management purposes . System reports are used to manage the company as a whole.
If necessary, new report categories may be added to the system as required by the users.
Customization
Each user may set up the filters and customize the format in which information will be presented to him.
Setting up the interface language
Each user may customize the system's interface. At the moment, Project Tracking supports the Russian and the English interface version.
